In Season 12, viewers were enthralled by the knowledge of 6-year-old Kautilya Pandit who was known for his razor-sharp intelligence. While the young boy did not play for the money, viewers got to see the extent of his knowledge on a variety of subjects.
The 1st Winner Of KBC
In 2001, the year when KBC was introduced to the audience, the show generated considerable excitement among viewers. The idea of winning a jackpot merely by answering questions has been seen as the defining factor of the show. Harshwardhan Navathe is the first winner of the show. After winning Rs 1 crore, Navathe became an overnight celebrity.
First Woman To Win Rs 5 Crore
Sunmeet Kumar Sawhney from Chandigarh became the first woman to win the quiz show in 2013. Sawhney who bagged the prize money of Rs 7 crore said that she was motivated to participate in the show by her teenage daughters. “I couldn’t believe that I won! Mr Bachchan had to come and hug me for me to believe that I have won Rs 5 crore. My husband also had to come and tell me so,” she was quoted as saying by IANS.
The First Woman Crorepati
In 2010, Rahat Taslim a resident of Jharkhand’s Giridh district became the first woman contestant to win Rs 1 crore. She told Big B that she wanted to pursue medicine, however, her family forbade her. During the episode, Taslim said that she became independent after her winning at KBC.
Amitabh Bachchan’s light-hearted interactions with his show’s competitors frequently win hearts. He just made a humorous matrimonial commercial for one of the show’s contestants. In another episode, he praised a participant for bringing his partner to the show and asked about internet dating.
