Telugu season 6 will launch with a grand event tonight. The launch will be hosted by superstar
Nagarjuna, and the promo from the entertaining night is already out. Per a PinkVilla report, the show, scheduled at 6 pm, September 4, looks every bit entertaining as expected.
The sixth season will go live on Star Maa and will be the superstar actor’s fourth season as a host of Big Boss Telugu. The premiere episode will, as usual, will introduce the contestants for the new season, which will also include a few commoners as well. Names confirmed to be a part of the new season are:
Revanth – Playback Singer
Srihan – Social Media Influencer
Baladitya – Actor
Rohit Sahni – Actor
Marina Abraham – Actor
The complete list of contestants for the new season will be released tonight. Big Boss Telugu is arguably the biggest reality television show in the Telugu Television industry, just like its Hindi version, hosted by actor Salman Khan. Based on the Dutch reality show Big Brother, Big Boss is produced by Viacom18 and Disney Star.

Tamil actor Dhanush announced his separation from wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth in a Twitter post on January 17. The actor had met Aishwaryaa at the screening of his film ‘Kadhal Kandaen’ (2003). Dhanush was 20, and Aishwaryaa, 22 when they married on 18 November in 2004. The couple has two sons, Yatra and Linga, who were born in 2006 and 2010 respectively.
While announcing the divorce the couple shared a statement that read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better.”
Split In The Family
Much before Aishwaryaa’s separation, Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya, too, had parted ways with her husband. Director Soundarya Rajinikanth was officially divorced from Ashwin Ramkumar on July 4, 2017. Soundarya took to Twitter to announce her separation. “News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year and divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family’s privacy,” Soundarya tweeted on September 16, 2016. Soundarya married businessman R Ashwin on September 3, 2010. According to reports, the divorce was filed as a mutual decision.
The Affair
Dileep is in the news right now as the accused in the infamous Kerala actor assault case. in 2014, he grabbed headlines after his then-wife Manju Warrier filed for divorce. Dileep and Warrier were hailed as the star-couple in the Malayalam industry. She co-starred with Dileep in ‘Sallapam’ when she was 18 years old. Warrier, who began her career in 1994, married Dileep in 1999. Their separation was mired in speculations about Dileep’s affair with his present wife Kavya Madhavan. After their separation, Dileep married Kavya Madhavan in 2016.
The 17-Year-Itch
Tamil Nadu media went berserk when reports of Kamal Haasan and Sarika’s divorce surfaced in 2004. There were indications and reports in the build-up to the much-scrutinised separation of the southern film stars. Kamal and Sarika kicked up a storm when they began living together without exchanging vows in 1988. The couple got married only after their first child Shruti was born. Kamal and Sarika called it quits in 2004 ending their 17-year-long marriage. Kamal was married to classical dancer Vani Ganapathy for 10 years. He separated from Ganapathy to get married to Sarika. They have two children, Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna will be making his comeback in the Hindi film industry after 17 years with the highly anticipated movie Brahmastra. The Wild Dog star will be sharing the screen with megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy. His last movie in Hindi was the 2003 movie LOC Kargil, in which is played the role inspired by Major Padmapani Acharya, a martyr from the Kargil War.
The Telugu actor was last seen in Bangarraju (2022), a sequel to the 2016 film Sogadde Chinni Nayana, which also featured his son Naga Chaitanya, Ramya Krishna, and Krithi Shetty. His next Telugu movie, The Ghost, featuring Sonal Chauhan and Gul Panag, is scheduled to release on October 5.
The debut season of Big Boss Telugu premiered on July 16, 2017, and was hosted by superstar Jr. NTR. The second season was hosted by actor Nani, and Nagarjuna has been at the helm since season 3, starting July 2019.
