Darwin Platform Group’s chairman meets President Murmu to discuss India’s rising prospects in a changing world

Efforts toward nation building and the creation of a new India emerged as the leading points of discussion when two great personalities — the President of India Droupadi Murmu and Darwin Platform Group of Companies chairman Ajay Harinath Singh met recently.

Singh called on Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the two had many productive discussions. Singh, who’s a descendent of Lord Rama’s son Lava from the Ikshvaku clan, belongs to a glorious lineage and is passionate about nation building through strong and innovative models, which will also create employment and wealth. “It was a great moment for me. Our president is not only very passionate about nation building but is also a compassionate woman who does not show off. Her simplicity is extraordinary, but as a politician who had served a full term as governor [of Jharkhand], she also has had the responsibility and knowledge to take people along,” Singh said.

Government Missions
President Murmu also appreciated the Darwin Platform chief ’s passion for nation building through wealth creation when she was informed about the group’s innovative business models aimed at boosting the economy. Singh told the president that the group’s businesses are deeply aligned with government missions like ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’, all of which have a focus on growth along with employment generation.

Changing World
The meeting comes at a time when the world is traversing a very challenging journey. Global risks have been accentuated by geopolitical tensions and severe economic stresses caused by untamed inflation and supply-side disruptions. The recessionary trends and debt crises in certain countries and regions have also become a matter of concern for the global economy.

In such a changing climate, Darwin Platform Group has prepared itself to take on new threats and challenges. Singh himself believes that it is critical to address sustainability challenges on a priority basis. “As President of India, Murmu would present a positive, strong and transformed image of our country before the world. Hence, we can expect a cultural dominance of India once again,” Singh added.

Both Singh and Murmu, personalities with deep socio religious roots, agreed that despite the global headwinds, a new India’s economy is poised to remain one of the fastest growing in the world. Innovative business models would be crafted to build strategic national assets in the true spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
