NEW DELHI: India on Monday reported 14,917 new Covid cases and 32 deaths. The death toll has now reached 5,27,069.
The country’s active caseload currently stands at 1,17,508. This comes to 0.27 per cent of the total cases. With 14,238 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate has reached 98.54 per cent. A total of 4,36,23,804 patients have recovered from the Covid virus in the country so far.
The daily positivity rate is 7.52 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate stands at 4.65 per cent.
India has conducted 88.04 crore Covid tests and administered 208.25 crore vaccine doses. Of the total vaccines administered, 93.79 crore are second doses and 12.30 crore are precaution doses.
