As Kerala continued to witness heavy rains, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert in seven districts of the state for Tuesday. The weather department issued red alerts for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts.
