JAIPUR: Calling the Udaipur beheading “a stigma on humanity”, an all-party meeting convened by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday condemned Kanhaiya Lal Sahu’s murder and appealed to people for restraint and to maintain peace.
“This inhuman act is tantamount to a stigma on humanity. All parties unanimously demand that the culprits of this act should be punished,” a statement said. Parties at Wednesday’s meeting assured that the criminals involved in the murder and conspiracy will get the harshest punishment and justice will be done to Sahu’s family. In the statement, they said the crime is being investigated by NIA.
Gehlot also chaired a high-level meeting of officials on the murder. Senior police officers said that a preliminary probe reveals that the criminals have links with international organisations.
