The new Redmi 11 Prime 5G is expected to support a dual rear camera with a 50-megapixel setup. The camera will be supported by a LED flash. It is also expected to come in 2 colour options. This phone was first featured in the IMEI database. Redmi 11 Prime 5G specifications were released by a microsite a few days ahead of its launch on September 6.

The phone has MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC (operating system), which is rated very highly by AnTuTu Score. The battery too will be power packed with 5000mAh, which will ensure a long battery life after a full charge. The phone would be having a dual 5G sim slot to ease phone usage.

Samsung A7 (2017)

Samsung launched its A7 (2017) smartphone in India priced at Rs 33,490. It is claimed to be the first smartphone in this price segment to come with IP68 rating, which makes it dust-and-water resistant.

It has 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display and is backed by an octa-core processor clubbed with 3GB RAM. The smartphone includes 32GB inbuilt storage, 16MP rear and front cameras.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A

Xiaomi launched its cheapest smartphone Redmi 4A in India at Rs 5,999. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM.

There’s 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB) and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s MIUI skin layer on top. The smartphone features a 3,120 mAh battery, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras.

Lava Z25

Indian smartphone brand Lava launched its most expensive smartphone called Z25. Priced at Rs 18,000, the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s StarOS UI layer.

It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It features a 13MP primary and 5MP secondary camera and houses a 3,020 mAh battery.

Nubia Z11 Mini S

ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia launched its first smartphone with 23MP rear camera in India. Bearing a price tag of Rs 16,999, the smartphone competes with Sony Xperia XZ (that launched last year) which offers similar camera specification.

The device has a 5.2-inch Full-HD display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. It has 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It has a 13MP front camera and packs a 3,000mAh battery.

Cat S60

The rugged smartphone Cat 60 launched in India this month at Rs 64,999. The highlight of the smartphone is its durability and ruggedness.

It is the world’s first smartphone to come with an integrated thermal camera from FLIR. The waterproof smartphone can withstand depths of up to 5 meter for one hour and can survive drops on concrete from up to 1.8 meter.

It features a 4.7-inch HD display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM.

Redmi had earlier announced through Twitter its intentions of launching this phone in India. The smartphone specifications were also revealed on the company website.

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G’s camera is designed in such a way to give it a wider angle, and its physical specs is such that it bulges out slightly from the body. The frontal notch of the camera too is very deftly designed and does not reveal very easily and interfere with the aesthetics. The spine of the body houses the volume control buttons and power control buttons. The final specifications apart from what is specified here have been withheld for the time being and will be revealed at the launch. The model number of the unit is 1219I and sported the name Light as per the IMEI database. The phone seems to be inspired in design by the Redmi Note 11 E.
