samsung: Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event: Z Fold 4, Flip 4 & more expected to launch; where to watch

2022 seems to be the year of the battle of the Titans, as smartphone giants Apple, Samsung, and other key players are gearing up to launch their smartphones successively. South Korean smartphone major, Samsung, is all set to launch a slew of devices tonight at around 6:30 pm.

The Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to launch two premium foldable devices – Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4. Apart from the innovative foldable devices, the premium android smartphone brand is also expected to unveil its Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

While the company is known for unveiling its Note series around this time of the year, reports suggest that the brand is currently focused on its Fold series and S series. Samsung has already started unrolling features related to Note on its other devices. This was evident from the S22 Fold smartphones as they came with an SPen stylus which was earlier restricted to the Note devices.

From the official teaser of the brand, while Galaxy Z Flip 4 is confirmed for the other foldable device and TWS earbuds, users will have to wait and watch. Several reports have indicated that the brand is working towards improving the battery life of its foldable devices, especially the Flip series. This is mainly due to the battery issues that were impacting the super-efficient Galaxy Flip 3. On the design front, the new foldable devices will sport the same old clamshell-folding mechanism.
