Stock Market Sectors: Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers shares closed higher in the Friday’s session.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 3.84%), KRISHANA(up 1.92%),

& Chemicals(up 1.23%), Sikko Industries(up 1.19%), Fertilizers (up 0.81%), Coromandel International(up 0.52%) and & Fertilizers(up 0.21%) stood among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 2.31%), Madras Fertlizers(down 1.94%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.20%),

& Petrochemicals(down 1.12%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.98%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.64%), & Fertilizers(down 0.55%), Rama Phosphates(down 0.45%), ZUARIAGRO(down 0.35%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.30%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 39.15 points up at 17698.15, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 130.18 points at 59462.78.

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 4.82%), Tata Steel(up 3.25%), NTPC(up 3.16%), UPL Ltd(up 2.79%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 2.33%), SBI Life(up 1.99%), ICICI Bank(up 1.71%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.69%), Reliance Industries(up 1.62%) and Grasim Industries(up 1.41%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 5.62%),

Enterprises(down 2.64%), Infosys(down 1.6%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.3%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.29%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.11%), Cipla(down 1.08%), Tech Mahindra(down 1.05%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.84%) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.83%) closed in the red.
