Stocks plunged news: Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Friday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 135.37 points down at 51360.42 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Spenta Intnl(down 19.89 per cent), Tatia Global(down 19.77 per cent), NEL Holdings(down 13.99 per cent), RMC Switchgears(down 13.48 per cent) and

Edu(down 13.45 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 12 stocks closed in the green, while 38 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 67.1 points down at 15293.5.

On the BSE, Greycells Edu, Wardwizard Innov(PP),

, and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while ., Gala Global Prod, , . Ltd. and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
