Vedanta Share Price: Vedanta shares decline 15.38% as Sensex climbs

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 222.2 and a high of Rs 440.75.

The stock of Vedanta Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 83042.23 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 4.42, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 2.3. Return on equity (ROE) was at 28.75 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 77 stocks traded in the green, while 424 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 69.69 per cent in the Vedanta Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2022 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 18.48 per cent and 2.49 per cent, respectively.
