Stock Market Sectors: Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers shares closed lower in the Tuesday’s session.

Sikko Industries(up 3.84%), Coromandel International(up 2.63%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.11%),

& Fertilizers(up 1.39%), & Fertilizers(up 1.36%), KRISHANA(up 0.18%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.10%) stood among the top gainers.

G S F C(down 5.22%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.98%), Agro Phos(down 4.44%),

& Chemicals(down 3.11%), & Petrochemicals(down 2.80%), & Fertilizers(down 1.77%), National Fertilizer(down 1.57%), Aries Agro(down 1.06%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.97%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.61%) were among the top losers of the day.



The NSE Nifty50 index ended 42.3 points down at 15732.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 153.13 points at 52693.57.

NTPC(up 1.68%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.6%),

Enterprises(up 1.49%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.49%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.48%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.36%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.35%), Grasim Industries(up 1.3%), Infosys(up 1.13%) and Cipla(up 1.04%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 5.14%), IndusInd Bank(down 2.46%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 2.26%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.22%), Tech Mahindra(down 2.07%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.65%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.59%), UPL Ltd(down 1.47%), Reliance Industries(down 1.31%) and Hindustan Unilever(down 1.18%) closed in the red.
