News18 further said that the actor was stable and undergoing tests. “He is stable now. There is nothing to worry for now,” the report quoted the staff member as saying.
Srivastava reportedly suffered a mild heart attack around 11-11:30 am when he was working out on the treadmill. He experienced chest pain and collapsed after which he was rushed to the hospital. “We’ll share more information soon,” his team was quoted as saying.

The 58-year-old, who has been in the National Capital for a week now, was in the city to meet his friends and family.
Srivastava became a household name after his appearance in the first season of ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. Although he was crowned the second runner-up, he became a fixture on national TV with stints across serials, reality shows and commercials. Soon after, he bagged the ‘The King of Comedy’ title in the reality spin-off series, ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions’.
Srivastava was also an audience-favourite contestant in the ‘Bigg Boss 3’ edition held in 2009, but was voted out after two weeks. He also featured in TV shows ‘Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala’, ‘Nach Baliye 6’, and ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. His big screen outings include ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Bombay to Goa’.
