pradhan: Dharmendra Pradhan heads to Australia, to meet ‘Group of Eight’ varsities

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be visiting Australia this week to explore stronger bilateral collaboration opportunities in skill development, joint Research, and development besides educational engagements with Australian institutes.

Pradhan will also hold a Dialogue with the ‘Group of Eight’ – Australia’s leading universities – on building successful Australia-India research collaboration during the tour, besides interactions with academics and officials from stakeholder departments.

The four-day tour will help build trans-national knowledge bridges, broaden bilateral engagements at all levels in all areas of learning, skilling, research, innovation and entrepreneurship and deepen people-to-people connect, Minister Pradhan said ahead of his departure.

It will also help lend new energy and momentum to India‘s aspirations as a knowledge economy.
