Adani Enterprises shares up marginally after subsidiary’s WTG gets global certification
Adani Wind’s 5.2 MW Wind Turbine Generator has been enlisted in the revised list of models and manufacturers (RLMM) published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), which signals that the 5.2 MW WTG is now commercially available, the company said.

Adani Enterprises shares were trading with marginal gains in the early trade on September 15 after the company’s Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) was made commercially available. At 09:24 hrs Adani Enterprises was quoting at Rs 2,523.55, up Rs 4.05, or 0.16 percent on the BSE.
Adani Wind, the wind energy solutions division of Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL), a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, announced that its 5.2 MW WTG has been enlisted in the revised list of models and manufacturers (RLMM) published by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
This listing signals that the 5.2 MW WTG of Adani Wind is now commercially available, the company said.
Adani Wind’s 5.2 MW WTG is the highest capacity onshore wind turbine in India to feature in the RLMM and also one of the most powerful onshore WTG in the world.
Designed for higher energy yield and for bringing down the levelised cost of energy (LCOE), the turbine features a rotor diameter of 160 meter and a tip height of 200 meters. It is built with technology from W2E (Wind to Energy), Germany and is type certified by WindGuard Certification GmbH, an independent certification body for wind turbines, the company added.
