Airpods Pro 2 Launch: AirPods Pro 2 to debut at Apple’s ‘Far Out’ event. Everything you need to know

Apple’s much-awaited ‘Far Out’ event will come with a slew of products. The iPhone 14 line-up is expected to be the highlight of the highly-anticipated event. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to unveil a slew of devices at the event.

Among the devices, Apple is also expected to launch its premium wireless earbuds, the AirPods Pro 2. Several reports and rumours have earlier indicated that the AirPods Pro 2 will be launched sometime in November. However, noted tech journalist Mark Gurman has claimed that the all-new AirPods Pro will be introduced at the September 7 event.

Power On said that the new AirPods Pro will be an upgraded model of the AirPods Pro that was introduced in 2019. “I reported last year that the new AirPods Pro would arrive in 2022, and now I’m told that Wednesday will be their big unveiling,” he said in the newsletter.

At present, the current edition of the AirPods Pro is considered to be a market leader when it comes to earbuds. Interestingly, Apple has not launched any earbuds since the AirPods Pro. The current AirPods Pro comes with premium features such as active noise cancellation coupled with a custom fit.

While there has been no confirmation about the features of the new AirPods Pro, it is rumoured that the latest edition will feature a stemless design, a new charging case and an enhanced audio experience.

Among the speculated features, the AirPod Pro 2 may come with the latest H1 processor, Bluetooth 5.2 support, Bluetooth LE Audio, and LC3 Codec. The forthcoming version could likely support lossless audio.
