Guwahati: As many nine health workers were suspended in Assam for negligence of duty.
A viral video of pregnant women in pain has gone viral. In the video, a woman bleeding in her labour from Dima hasao district of Assam appeared in social media.
The incident took place in Khepre Primary Health Centre in Assam’s Dima Hasao district along the Assam-Nagaland border.
The Chief Executive Member of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC) Debolal Gorlosa has verified the matter and has instructed Principal Secretary to initiate investigation.
It is alleged that health workers and the doctors do not carry out their duties and remain unavailable.
