NEW DELHI: In what could perhaps be a security breach, some Congress protesters in Vijaywada released black balloons near Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s chopper as it took off.
A video shows a protester releasing the black balloons as soon as PM Modi‘s chopper takes off.
According to Times Now, four Congress workers have been arrested in connection with the protest.
During his visit to Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi unveiled a 30-ft bronze statue of legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju on the latter’s 125th birth anniversary.
Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, former Union Minister and film star K Chiranjeevi and others were present on the occasion.
