Several areas of Delhi-NCR woke up to another spell of rain Wednesday morning. Showers since Tuesday brought down mercury but caused traffic snarls and waterlogging in many parts of the Capital.

Municipal Corporation of Delhi said it had received complaints related to waterlogging from residents of Pitampura, Rithala, Bijwasan and Shivaji Vihar.

At least 19 complaints were received related to uprooting of trees from several areas, including Rajouri Garden, West Punjabi Bagh, Ashok Nagar, Dwarka, Jahangirpuri and Kingsway Camp.

Delhi had received the first monsoon showers on June 30 morning which had provided a much-needed respite from the oppressive heat.

For today, the IMD has predicted a standard and safe forecast. The day could see light to moderate rain/thunder showers with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be around 32 and 26 degrees Celsius.
