Mohanlal, who was commissioned into the Territorial Army of India as an honorary Lieutenant Colonel in 2018, praised IAC Vikrant‘s “unmatched uniqueness.”
“May she always be victorious at sea!” he added.
The 262m-long, 62m-wide, 59m-tall aircraft carrier cost Rs 20,000 crore to build. 2009 began its construction. The Indian Navy received the aircraft carrier in July from Cochin Shipyard Ltd. It will be commissioned this month.
