NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, has bagged the top position in the Union ministry of education’s India Rankings 2022 of Higher Educational Institutions, a list released by the government on Friday.
Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru and IIT, Bombay, have secured the second and third spots respectively.
* IISc Bengaluru has been named the best university, while Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia from Delhi got the second and third ranks respectively.
*IIM-Ahmedabad has been identified as the best business school in India, followed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta.
*While Miranda House is the best college as per the said rankings, Hindu college came second, followed by Presidency college
*AIIMS, New Delhi, is the best medical college as per the released list.
*Meanwhile, the rankings hold Savitha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences in Chennai as the best dental college.
