NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Tuesday.
Shares of Brigade Enterprises(up 3.12 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.89 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.58 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.5 per cent) and DLF(up 0.19 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 2.5 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 2.0 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.12 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.1 per cent up at 417.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 157.7 points at 16058.3, while the BSE Sensex stood down 508.62 points at 53886.61.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 7 ended in the green, while 43 closed in the red.
Shares of , , Zomato Ltd., and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of
, Ltd., DSJ Comm, KCK Industries Ltd. and Cool Caps Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Arshiya, Vikas Proppant & Gr, , and Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows.
