NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Friday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills(up 2.79 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.38 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.92 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.7 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.51 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects(down 2.91 per cent), DLF(down 0.12 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.04 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.34 per cent up at 439.5.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 114.2 points at 16719.45, while the BSE Sensex stood up 390.28 points at 56072.23.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 ended in the green, while 17 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, RBL Bank, , GSFC and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of NDTV,
, , Ltd. and Butterfly Gandhi hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, , Ltd., and MIC Electronics hit their fresh 52-week lows.
