NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Friday.
Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.4 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.98 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.68 per cent), DLF(up 1.46 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.53 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.59 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.28 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 1.05 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.56 per cent up at 420.0.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 110.55 points at 16049.2, while the BSE Sensex stood up 344.63 points at 53760.78.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 ended in the green, while 16 closed in the red.
Shares of , YES Bank, SAIL, Zomato Ltd. and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of
, GRP Ltd, PC Jeweller, BLS Int. Services and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Electrotherm, , Ltd., and hit their fresh 52-week lows.
