And now we’re all sure that the actor has moved on with his life. According to rumours, the actor has got a new date. Any guesses? The actor is dating Priya Banerjee, the Baar Baar Dekho actor.

Priya and Prateik, who have known one another for quite some time, met through a mutual acquaintance in the TV profession. The report said they have been dating for a year now. They met through a mutual buddy in the TV industry. The Chhichhore star has already informed his family about his ladylove Priya.

“Prateik and Priya frequently hang out and workout together, but they choose to keep their relationship private for the time being.” His divorce from his wife, Sanya Sagar, is the cause.

Actor Prateik Babbar tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, BSP leader Pawan Sagar’s daughter, Sanya Sagar in a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony on Wednesday. The wedding, which took place in the bride’s hometown – Lucknow, was a private affair attended by the couple’s families and close friends.

While Bollywood was completely absent from the wedding, the couple has reportedly planned a reception in Mumbai for their industry friends.

Happily Married

The ‘Mulk’ actor opted for a classic off-white kurta pyjama, paired with a red turban for the ceremony. Sagar was a traditional Marathi bride in a yellow nauvari sari. She completed her look with heavy gold jewellery.

Falling For You

Before the pictures from their big day were released, Sagar shared moments from the pre-wedding festivities on her Instagram Stories. A combined haldi and mehendi ceremony took place on Tuesday at the bride’s residence.

She wore a yellow outfit for the occasion and coupled it with a floral tiara. Babbar, on the other hand, wore a kurta pyjama and complimented it with a green stole.

Engaged!

The ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ actor had announced his engagement with Sagar through an Instagram post, a year ago.

The 32-year-old actor and Sagar have been friends for eight years, before they started dating. After being in a relationship for 2 years, Babbar had proposed to her in Goa last year.

Back To The Beginning

Raj Babbar’s son made his Bollywood debut with ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ in 2008, and has since starred in movies like ‘Dhobi Ghaat’, ‘Aarakshan’ and ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’. His upcoming projects include ‘Chhichhore’ and ‘Brahmastra’.

Sagar, too, is part of the entertainment industry, and has produced music videos and short films.

Priya Banerjee began her career in 2013 with the Telugu film ‘KISS: Keep It Simple, Stupid’. In 2015, she made her Bollywood debut in the film ‘Jazbaa’, directed by Sanjay Gupta. Her famous films include ‘Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna’ (2019) and ‘Bhanwar’ (2020).

Prateik Babbar’s next film will be ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan‘. Taapsee Pannu and Pratik Gandhi play crucial parts in Arshad Syed‘s investigative comedy. ‘Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan’ is about a lady cop (Taapsee) and a groom, who starts hunting for the bride.
