Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday announced that Chandigarh International airport will be named after Indian revolutionary Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
The minister took to Twitter to inform citizens that the decision was made in the presence of Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala.

The tweet confirmed that both the states, Punjab and Haryana, have agreed to name the airport after the revolutionary freedom fighter.
The ministers met on Saturday to discuss the same.
