share market: Share market update: Most active stocks in today’s market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 5.02 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.55 crore), (numbers of share traded: 1.29 crore), Atreya Petro(numbers of share traded: 1.21 crore), Vikas Multicorp(numbers of share traded: 1.10 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 0.87 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 0.85 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 0.84 crore), Future Consumer (numbers of share traded: 0.77 crore) and Indian Info Sof(numbers of share traded: 0.70 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday’s market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 42.3 points down at 15732.1, while BSE Sensex ended down 153.13 points at 52693.57.
