share market: Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.87 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.55 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 0.97 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 0.97 crore), Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 0.93 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 0.82 crore), SAIL(number of shares traded: 0.72 crore), MRPL(number of shares traded: 0.62 crore), ONGC(number of shares traded: 0.60 crore) and Bank of Baroda(number of shares traded: 0.52 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:04AM in Thursday’s session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 158.8 points up at 15572.1, while BSE Sensex was up 518.25 points at 52340.78 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index,

.(up 3.94 per cent), .(up 2.65 per cent), .(up 2.57 per cent), .(up 2.49 per cent) and .(up 2.47 per cent) were among the top gainers.



While .(down 0.74 per cent), .(down 0.59 per cent), .(down 0.33 per cent), .(down 0.06 per cent) and .(down 0.04 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
