Stocks plunged news: Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Monday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 86.61 points down at 54395.23 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Wardwizard Innov(down 15.99 per cent), Yogi Infra Proj(down 13.80 per cent),

(down 13.51 per cent), Modella Woollen(down 13.22 per cent) and Ashoka Metcast(down 11.11 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 30 stocks closed in the green, while 20 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 4.6 points down at 16216.0.

On the BSE, Arshiya, Vikas Proppant & Gr,

Ltd., Dev. and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Pressure Sensitive Systems(India)Ltd., , , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
