NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1045.6 points down at 51495.79 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, BCPL Railway Infra(down 19.38 per cent), Olympic Cards(down 16.81 per cent), Compucom Soft(down 15.34 per cent), GCM Comm(down 15.10 per cent) and Refnol Resins(down 14.95 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 3 stocks closed in the green, while 47 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 331.55 points down at 15360.6.
On the BSE,
, , , Arshiya and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , . and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
