The flag cannot be draped or used as clothing or for social purposes. Regardless of the weather, it should be flown as much as possible from sunrise to dusk.The flag cannot be purposefully permitted to touch the earth, the water’s surface, or the floor. It is not permitted to be draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of any kind of vehicle, train, boat, or aircraft. The flag may not be positioned higher than any other flag or bunting. Additionally, nothing, including flowers, garlands, or symbols, may be positioned on top of or on the flag. The Tricolour cannot be hung as a bunting, festoon, or rosette.
