NEW DELHI: On April 28, 2018, the Centre declared that all inhabited census villages have been electrified.
The goal was reached four years after the Narendra Modi-led government launched the Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana scheme.
The last village to be electrified was Leisang village in Manipur.
